The 2024 Gatlinburg Festival of Trees features a children’s craft and play area, photos with Santa Claus and, of course, beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths. The proceeds from Gatlinburg Festival of Trees will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

On select dates this holiday season guests can celebrate with family at the Heritage Center’s Christmas in the Village by stepping back in time to a pioneer celebration. Living history interpreters will act as guides through the holiday-adorned historic Appalachian village full of handcrafting demonstrations allowing visitors to connect with the spirit and history of Townsend, Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains. Through the holiday season, visitors can meet characters and storytellers and enjoy caroling along the Parkway Friday and Saturday evenings during this annual event! Winter Magic Tunes & Tales will once again present strolling Christmas entertainment on the streets of Gatlinburg. On select Saturday's this holiday season you can start your day in the holiday spirit by creating magical memories with Santa at SkyLand Ranch during Santa’s Country Christmas Breakfast. Spend your morning having a southern homemade breakfast while meeting and visiting with Santa Claus! Gatlinburg will welcome the arrival of 2025 in unique style with its annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop & Fireworks Show around the base of the Space Needle at traffic light #8 late December 31. At the stroke of midnight, the ball will drop and fireworks will blast off the rooftop of the 400-foot tall Space Needle with special music choreographed for the fireworks show. The Space Needle has added rhythmic LED lights to the tower, making for a spectacular display.

Chevys In The Smokies is an annual car show and swap meet celebrating Camaros, Chevelles, C10s, and all types of Chevrolet vehicles. The 2025 Chevys In The Smokies is the 48th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain car show. Events include a swap meet, sales corral, park 'n show, awards show, and a corvette cruise on the Tail Of The Dragon.

Ponies In The Smokies is an annual Pigeon Forge car show celebrating the Ford Mustang – the longest produced nameplate by Ford Motor Company.

Calling all the automotive enthusiasts out there! The Pigeon Forge Rod Run car event is the area’s largest automotive gathering, and it’s coming back to town from April 10-12. It's one you surely don’t want to miss! This spring event will feature a massive swap meet with hundreds of show cars, a car corral, top 25 awards, ultimate 5 awards, a cash giveaway of $8,000, and much more. Get ready for the annual Bronco Super Celebration! It’s not just any car show – it’s a weekend packed with fun for everyone.
