The Great Escape is a spacious 6-bedroom cabin with 4 equally appointed King Suites, 1 Queen Suite, 1 Bunk Room and a loft with 2 full size beds. Each of the 6 bedrooms also features its own ensuite bathroom with an additional full bath in the game room.

There is a sleeper sofa in the main level den and two sleeper sofas in the game room.

Yes, The Great Escape is easily accessible year around. The roads leading to and inside the resort are nice, standard width, paved roads with no steep hills to climb. In the event of winter conditions, the roads in the resort are treated. We do not recommend buses larger than 26 passenger (no charter buses).

Yes, you can relax in the private hot tub while breathing in the fresh mountain air.

While there is so much to do in Pigeon Forge, there will be times when you just want to kick back and relax at The Great Escape. But for the more active ones in your group, there’s still plenty to keep you busy. You can challenge one another to a game of pool, foosball or air-hockey.

Yes, The Great Escape has a theater room equipped with a large projector screen, surround sound and tiered theater seating. Bring your popcorn - it will be just like you are at the movies. There is a small collection of DVDs available for use, but you are welcome to bring your own too. Also provided is an extra HDMI connection for your personal game system or favorite streaming devices.

We welcome you and your registered guests to host your private events at The Great Escape. The cabin can be a great place for a special birthday or team retreat. (Maximum occupancy still applies and prior permission will need to be granted. Please contact us for further details)

The free ticket program through Xplorie provides one free ticket per day per group to each of the attractions listed. The tickets are not cumulative, but they do reset each night. So, for example if you wanted to go to Dollywood you would not receive multiple tickets that could be used at the same time but if you wanted to go on various days one person would get in free each day. There is no limit to the number of attractions you can visit in a day. Tickets for your entire group can be purchased through the Xplorie call center when you call to register for your free ticket. Further details will be sent with your booking confirmation.

The Great Escape is the perfect cabin for guests with mobility concerns. Equipped with an elevator means everyone in your family can enjoy all the amenities and benefits that come with this cabin. The elevator goes down to the theater level and the game room level. There is a ramp to gain access to the cabin and the bedroom on the main level has a roll-in shower plus grab bars at the toilet. There is also a gate for access to the hot tub, fire pit and grilling area.

Whether you want to prepare a delicious breakfast, a light lunch or a three-course dinner, the kitchen offers everything you need. It comes fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, small appliances, and benefits from a separate drink refrigerator. A detailed list of everything included in the kitchen is available in our app which you will have access to after booking.

There is a full-size washer and dryer located on the theater level along with an iron and ironing board.

A welcome "starter pack" of household essentials is provided, including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent and soap. These items will get you started so you do not have to go to the store right away giving you time to collect further provisions.

Yes, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels are all provided. If you plan to use the hot tub you may prefer to bring along some beach towels.

All beds are made with fresh linens and extra blankets, sheets and pillows are provided for the sleeper sofas.

Black Bear Ridge Resort has a seasonal outdoor pool. This area is generally open from May thru September but is dependent on the weather.

This is a communal area shared with other resort guests and we highly recommend you check it out.

A gas and charcoal grill are located just off the main level deck. Propane and grilling utensils are provided.

You can park up to 5 vehicles directly in front of the cabin. There is also an overflow lot located just up the street.

Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 10:00am. Due to the amount of time necessary to thoroughly clean a cabin this size, unfortunately early check ins and late check outs will not be available.

Yes, the cabin is equipped with a keypad. Key codes are generated specific for each guest. The code will begin working at 4:00pm on check in day and will be deactivated at 10:00am on check out day. Complete check in instructions will be provided in our app which is sent after booking.

There is a strict 60-day cancellation policy. Any changes to a reservation must be made at least 60 days before travel. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect against any unforeseen circumstances.

Since The Great Escape is advertised as a pet free home, we must stick to our no pet policy and keep this home pet free out of respect for all guests and the possibility of allergies. (A $250.00 deep clean fee will be charged if there is evidence of a pet being present)

Guest must be 25 or older to rent. The guests whose name appears on the reservation is the responsible person, must be present during the entire stay and will be the point of contact. A valid government issued ID may be requested. Due to liability concerns and insurance restrictions, there are no exceptions to this policy.
